The service

opnTee lets a group post tee times, claim spots, chat, and keep score. Handicap figures use World Handicap System formulas. opnTee is not affiliated with the USGA, does not connect to GHIN, and cannot post a score to an official handicap.

Your account

You need an account to use the signed-in parts of opnTee. You are responsible for the email and password, and for what is posted from the account. One person, one account. Don't share the password.

What you post

Scores, messages, photos, and group details are yours. You give opnTee permission to store them and show them to the people your group, event, or friend link already allows to see them. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, and don't use the app to harass anyone.

A shared scorecard is the group's record of the round. If you delete your account, those strokes stay on the card under the name Deleted player. Chat you wrote is removed. The privacy policy is the full account of what is deleted and what is kept.

Acceptable use

Don't post abusive, illegal, or harassing content. Don't try to break the service, scrape it, or get into someone else's account. Don't use invite links to spam people who didn't ask to play.

You can report a message or a feed post, and you can block someone so their messages and posts stay hidden from you and they can't send you a friend or invite request. A group owner or admin can delete a message in their group. Creating an account means you agree to this.

Availability

opnTee is free. There is no subscription and nothing to buy in the app. It is provided as it is. A round in the app is not an official score, a wager, or a payment. Venmo usernames are shown so your group can settle up outside opnTee. We don't move money.

Closing an account

You can delete the account from Profile at any time. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. Questions go to rmbuckleyiii@gmail.com or the support page.
